6) Disagreements with article 3
This disagreement stems from the fact that these teenagers discussed in the article, decided to create a YouTube video because 'they were bored after school and didn't want to go outside' Even though i am a 'digital native' myself i feel quite sad and can understand how a 'digital immigrant' parent would feel about this. When my parents grew up they used the outdoors to their limits, and i feel that even though 'new technology' has taught me a lot, i feel that the outdoors should play a lot in a young person life also. In addition, one could argue that in cases such as these relate to the debate as to whether 'new technologies' has a link to obesity. I'm not saying that ever young person, 'digital native', that is involved with all of this 'new technology' is obese and as stated above, i do believe that this 'new technology' has a lot to teach everyone, however in most cases in this digital era the only exercise related piece of technology is the wii. Do you think that modern technology is going to continue to create inventions that combine the two, technology and exercise? Or do you think it is a one off? In addition, does it matter? Or should we be educated more to exercise?
