3) Criticism's of the websites - 5

5) This is one of the most recent site pages discussing the topic of 'digital immigrants' and 'digital natives'. However it doesn't actually conjure up an argument, instead at the end he questions 'If digital natives really do have different learning styles, is that something that should be accepted or attacked and changed?' That made me then think about all of the possibilities. In fact i think that this is a good question to end on after reading all of the other websites discussing their views on 'digital immigrants' and 'digital natives'. It has been said that the future is in our hands, in which case i feel that as long as what you are being taught depends on whether you are willing to learn it or not, not dependant upon what medium it is from. What about students who hate computers and technology? What happens to them? Are we going to be 'forced' to use new technologies? I think right now it is too early to tell, but after all things are always changing in time and who knows in 10 years time students studying media will be discussing what the NEW 'digital natives' are about? Will they even be called 'digital natives'?
